About the Honor the Fallen 5K & GORUCK
The course runs entirely on pavement, moving through street sections and golf course paths inside The Grove. It is rolling terrain rather than a track loop, with a water station roughly mid-course and a restroom stop along the golf course stretch. The race is built around a memorial bib bearing a fallen service member's name, which gives the morning a quieter, more purposeful feel than most local road races.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the main venue, with a morning option available on race day. Parking directions differ depending on which pickup you choose, so check the gate information in advance. After the race, an open-air after-party follows, with a lunch plate included for registered participants. Restrooms are inside the Sports Center next to packet pickup, with an additional option inside the General Store nearby.
