About the Honor Run Half Marathon
The Honor Run raises money to send local veterans to Washington DC to visit the memorials built for them. That mission shapes the whole morning. It draws people who want their entry fee to mean something beyond a finish time, and the atmosphere on the course reflects that. Several distance options mean you can pick the effort that fits your training without missing the event.
Age group awards are store credit at a local running shop, and overall winners take home shoes or a gift card from that same store. Packet pickup runs the two days before the race, so you are not scrambling for your bib on race morning.
