About the Honey Brook Sweetwater Run
The course runs through a reclaimed landfill site, which sounds unusual but delivers something genuinely different. Paved sections give way to wooded trails and grassy paths, and the route climbs twice before reaching an overlook with open views across the valley. After that, it is mostly downhill back to the start. The terrain keeps you paying attention.
Parking is on site, and volunteers direct traffic when you arrive. Registration and the start area are both within the facility, so follow the signs and the people waving you through rather than worrying about the layout in advance.
