About the Holmes Chiropractic Care Gig Harbor Turkey Trot!
The Gig Harbor Turkey Trot runs on Thanksgiving morning, starting on Judson Street. The race uses chip-start timing, so crossing the start line a little late does not cost you anything. Canned food donations are collected at the start, with proceeds supporting local food banks, a backpack program for kids, and college scholarships for area high schoolers.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Chapel Hill Church on Skansie Ave, with race-morning pickup also available at the start line. Parking in the area fills up; the organizers suggest arriving early, getting dropped off, or sharing a ride. The city prohibits dogs on the course.

The Holmes Chiropractic Care Gig Harbor Turkey Trot! has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
