The course runs along the waterfront at Port of Everett, with the marina on one side and open water views stretching toward the mountains on the other. The terrain is flat the whole way, so the effort goes into the scenery rather than the climb. Runners tend to show up in winter gear, and the blue-and-white theme gives the start line a bit of color.
