About the Holiday Lights @ the Rails 5K & Kids Dash

The course follows a paved trail through a pair of city parks, looping between them so you pass through both. The whole thing is lit up with holiday displays, so you are running past lights the entire way. Christmas music plays along the route, and the atmosphere is more evening stroll than hard effort, even if you are racing. Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies are at the finish.

Packet pickup is in the park before the start, so there is no need to go anywhere else beforehand. Post-race festivities run for a stretch after the last finisher, with music still going. Parking details were not something shared, but the start and finish are both at Depot Street Park.
