The Holiday Hustle Last Chance 5K is put on by a Marine Corps League detachment, and the proceeds go toward youth programs and local veterans' organizations. Pets on leashes are welcome on the course, so expect a few dogs in the mix. The race draws a range of people, partly because the cause behind it tends to bring out runners who might not otherwise be regulars.
