About the 15th Annual Holiday 5K/10K
The course runs through downtown Springfield and is chip-timed, with several distance options so runners and walkers can pick what suits them. The route is stroller- and pet-friendly, and the Thanksgiving theme gives the morning a seasonal feel. It benefits the local YMCA, so the crowd tends to be rooted in the neighborhood.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Robertson County Family YMCA, with race-morning pickup available at the start area on Main Street. The event goes on rain or shine, and awards go several places deep for overall and masters finishers.
