About the Hog Run at the Yadkin River
The course runs along the Jonesville Greenway Trail beside the Yadkin River. Underfoot you get a mix of gravel, hard-packed dirt, and grass, so it is not a road race in the usual sense. The terrain follows the river's shape, with gentle rolls rather than any serious climbing. Costumes are encouraged, and some runners lean into that.
