About the Hoboken Kids Run & Family Fun Day
This is a free kids run held at Maxwell Place Park on the Hoboken waterfront. Children race short distances suited to their age group, from the youngest runners through grade-school age, and there is an adaptive run for children with special needs. The park setting puts the finish line close to the water, with music and a crowd of families nearby.
Advance registration is required even though the event costs nothing, and spots are capped, so it is worth registering early. The organizer brings water and light refreshments, and professional photos are taken on race day, so parents can watch without worrying about missing the moment.
