About the 2026 Hinson Lake 24 Hour Ultra Classic
The course loops Hinson Lake on a sand and gravel trail through the woods. Underfoot it stays consistent, with small wooden footbridges breaking up the path regularly, including one long bridge that carries you straight across the water. At night the trail is marked with chem-lights, which gives the whole thing a different feel once the sun goes down.
Parking is split across a few areas around the facility, and the main lot near the lodge fills up on a first-come basis. The race starts from the footbridge at the dam end of the main parking area. Pacers are welcome but must be registered as participants to keep the trail from getting crowded.
