About the Hillsdale Hobble Gobble
The course runs through Hayden Park on a mix of wide grass trails and narrow mountain biking paths through the woods. Pink ribbons tied to trees mark the way. The terrain shifts underfoot as you move between open sections and wooded stretches, so it is not a smooth pavement run. Strollers can make it, though the tighter paths may take some maneuvering.
There is no packet pickup and no bib. Show up to the field west of the paved parking lot before the start and you are set. The finish line sits near a fire pit, and the top male and female finishers each take home a homemade pie.
