About the 2026 Hell Hole Gator Run 5K & 10K
The course runs through rural Low Country roads, turning through French Santee Road, Simmons Road, and Tiger Corner Road before finishing on the main highway in front of Town Hall. The surroundings are flat and open, the kind of back-country road running where you can see a long way ahead. Winners in the top divisions get actual gator-head trophies and a spot in the parade that follows.
Parking and race-morning packet pickup are at Hell Hole Inc on Steel Shed Lane. There is also an advance pickup option the evening before at a running shop in Mt. Pleasant. Runners doing the shorter distance are shuttled out to their start in the woods before the race begins.
