About the Head for the Hilltop 5K + Kids Fun Run
The course runs through Hilltop Hanover Farm, a working farm dating back to the colonial era. The trail loops around the property, so you are moving past fields and open agricultural land the whole way. A separate kids run goes through the growing fields themselves, which is a different experience for small children than a road race.
The race benefits the Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm, the nonprofit that supports the farm's work in sustainable agriculture and local food access. After finishing, runners have a small credit to spend at the Farm Stand on site, so there is produce to browse while you cool down.
