About the Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - Kalama Valley 2026
The course is a loop through Kalama Valley, run as many times as your distance requires. Each loop goes uphill toward the valley, turns around, then heads back down toward Sandy Beach before returning to the start and finish area in the middle. The terrain is road, the neighborhood is residential, and turnaround points are marked with cones and signs.
No packet pickup means you simply arrive, sign in, and go. The start and finish tent at Kalama Valley Park is the hub for the whole race, with water, ice, and snacks on hand throughout. Public restrooms are available around the clock at that same spot. Street parking runs along Kealahou Street, and a bus route stops directly across from the check-in tent.
