About the Hauser Lake Icebreaker Run 5k/10k
The course runs a paved loop around Hauser Lake, and the organizers describe it as fast. Dogs are welcome to run alongside their owners, which gives the start line a different energy than most road races. The proceeds support a local ranch that cares for special needs dogs, so there is a clear reason behind the event beyond the run itself.
Packet pickup and same-day registration both happen at the fire station before the start. There is a food and coffee truck on site, and trophies go to the top finishers in each age group across both distances.
