About the HAUNTED HALLOWEEN 5K & 10K RUN / WALK
The course follows a paved bike path around a lake, looping it for the shorter distance or doubling back for the longer one. Chip timing records each lap separately, so losing count is not actually a problem. Halloween costumes are part of the culture here, and there is an award for the best one.
An aid station sits just past the finish area, so you pass it on every loop and can grab water or Gatorade as needed. Post-race snacks are out for finishers and volunteers. No dogs on the course, and strollers are welcome if you line up toward the back.
