About the Harvest Hustle 5k/10k
The courses loop through Othello's city parks and community spaces, with open farm fields and irrigation canals visible along the way. The fall setting fits the race's name, and the surrounding landscape is distinctly agricultural, flat basin terrain rather than anything technical underfoot.
The start and finish area draws local vendors and spectators, and proceeds support the local high school cross country program. That connection gives the post-race crowd a clear sense of purpose beyond just the running.
