About the Hart-Miller Island Run

Hart-Miller Island is a dredged-material island reached only by boat, and getting there is part of the race. Participants park at Rocky Point, ride a shuttle to a pier, then take a boat out to the island. The course runs along the island itself, sandy and flat, with open water visible most of the way around.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Charm City Run location in Timonium. On race day, you must be parked and ready well before your scheduled boat departure, because the boats run on a fixed schedule and missing yours means missing the race. Light refreshments are available after finishing.
