About the Hardinsburg Turkey Trot
The race starts and finishes at the courthouse square in Hardinsburg, which gives the whole morning a town-center feel. Both distances begin there, and the square serves as a natural gathering point before and after. Proceeds go toward a local Shop With A Cop program and a food drive for a nearby assistance center, so there is a real charitable thread running through the event.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the courthouse square, in the hour before the gun. Registration can also be completed on the spot, either by cash or phone, so you do not need to sort anything out in advance. A food drive is running alongside the race, and a canned good donation is a welcome substitute for registration fees for younger runners.

The Hardinsburg Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
