About the Hard'ack Fall Trail Running Series
Hard'ack recreation area is a cross-country trail venue with wide, mostly grassy paths winding through both open meadows and wooded sections. The terrain has real hills, so expect to work. The course shape shifts from week to week, partly based on conditions, which keeps it from feeling routine even if you run the whole series.
You pick your distance on the day of the race, so there is no pressure to commit ahead of time. After the run, refreshments are out and a prize raffle follows, making the finish area worth lingering in.
