About the Halloween Hustle 5K
The course starts and finishes at a bar called Linemen's Lounge, which opens early for the event. It heads out along East Broadway, then swings down toward the high school, loops around a Scout Cabin, and returns the same way. The roads are marked and volunteers are posted along the route. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
Parking and restrooms are at Linemen's Lounge, and water is available on the course. After the race, a costume contest runs inside. A few neighboring bars also offer food and drink specials for runners wearing the armband available at the start.
