About the Halloween Hangover Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk
The courses run on a school district cross-country track, so the terrain is grassy and well-worn by regular runners. There are several distance options, from a walk up through a mid-length and a longer route, and costumes seem to be the whole point given the name. Dogs are welcome on course.
After the race, a short competition pits dachshunds and corgis against each other in a dash to crown the fastest small dog around. A local vendor is on site with sweet treats and dog-friendly snacks, making the post-race scene as much a dog party as a running event.
