Racing in Naples means you are almost certainly running flat and fast, with the Gulf never far from view. The same waterfront miles that locals log along Gulf Shore Boulevard and past the Naples Pier show up in the race calendar here - open sky, salt air, and that particular southwest Florida light that makes a hard effort feel a little more bearable.
