About the Half Marathon-by-the-Sea
The course runs through the historic downtown area and then heads out toward nearby freshwater lakes, so the surroundings shift from coastal town streets to quieter rural roads. The terrain is not mountain running, but there are enough rolling stretches to keep it honest. Race photos are posted free afterward, and GPS tracking through a phone app lets people follow along from home.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
