About the 27th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk

This is a hybrid event, so runners can take part in person at Johnson Park or complete the distance wherever suits them, whether that is a treadmill, a neighborhood street, or a backyard. The race is organized by a medical school outreach program, and proceeds support health clinics serving underserved communities. Both formats count, and virtual participants can submit their time and share a photo afterward.

Johnson Park is the in-person venue, and the race runs rain or shine with no rescheduling. Packet pickup details are not laid out, but the registration process includes instructions for printing a digital bib at home, which virtual participants will need regardless of where they run.
