About the Grunski Runski
Curtis Reed Square, right in the heart of downtown Menasha, is where the course begins and ends. The route winds through the city center, into the trail system, and across historic Doty Island. The terrain mixes pavement and trail, and the island stretch gives the course a character that a purely road race would not have.
Post-race, there is BBQ at the finish line, along with music from a local radio station. The race benefits a fund that helps local kids participate in city recreation programs throughout the year.
