About the Great Woods Marathon & 5k

The course is a loop around the grounds of the outdoor concert venue in Mansfield, run several times over to cover the marathon distance. It is paved, wide, and closed to traffic on race day. Because it circles back past the same spot repeatedly, friends and family can watch from one place and see you come through again and again.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store in Mansfield, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking sits right next to the course. Post-race, there is water, fruit, and granola in the registration area.
