About the Great Raider Pumpkin Run
The course runs on private farm property outside Flushing, over hilly, natural terrain with no pavement underfoot. The trail is wide and graded, so the footing is manageable, but the hills are real. It is the kind of setting where you are well away from roads and parking lots, surrounded by the farm itself.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at Flushing Farms, with a second window on race morning before the start. The race benefits a youth baseball team, and entry includes access to the farm's attractions for the day, so families tend to stick around after finishing. Strollers are not permitted on the course given the terrain.
