About the Great Miami Riverway Half
The course runs point-to-point from downtown Troy to Piqua, following city streets before picking up a riverside bike path heading north. Along the way it passes the Eldean Covered Bridge, which is worth the trip on its own. The terrain is mixed, so expect pavement of both the road and trail variety before finishing near a brewery at the far end.
Packet pickup is available the day before at a running store in Piqua, with a second option race morning near the start in downtown Troy. Parking is available at an arena and a city park. A shuttle runs from the finish back to the start area, so you do not need to arrange a car at both ends.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
