About the Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Marathon Race Festival: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The course runs through Ohiopyle, a small town set inside a state park along a river gorge. The terrain follows trail and road surfaces through dense woodland, with the half marathon route doing the heavy lifting and the full marathon covering that same ground twice. It is hilly country, and the scenery does most of the talking.
Packet pickup opens race morning near the start and finish area on Sheridan Street. Parking is in the lot beside the Visitor's Center, not at the start line itself, so build a short walk into your morning. Post-race food is included with entry.
