This is a kids' race built around a months-long training program. Children log activity at home through the fall, then come together to run the final stretch of the actual Grand Rapids Marathon course, finishing on the same start-finish line the adult race uses. The finish area is outside the David D. Hunting YMCA, with packet pickup in a nearby parking lot before the run.
