About the Gorham 4-Miler
The race starts and finishes at the Gorham Recreation Department, a practical, no-frills setup that suits the neighborhood feel of the event. The course is a road race through Gorham, and the field draws a wide range of paces, from competitive runners chasing age-group awards to walkers who show up and are genuinely welcome.
After you finish, Gorham House of Pizza provides free pizza at the finish area. The race supports a scholarship honoring a Gorham High School graduate lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, so there is real local meaning behind the entry fee.
