About the Goodwill Halloween Hustle 5K and Walk
This one is built around costumes as much as running. The race benefits Goodwill's employment programs for people with disabilities, so there is a real purpose behind the morning. The course is chip-timed for anyone chasing a time, but plenty of people are out there in full Halloween getup, and a costume contest runs alongside the race.
There are sweet treats at the finish and a costume contest with prizes, so the post-race scene tends to linger a bit. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and participants of all abilities, which shapes the feel of the start line.
