About the Goblin Gallop for Recovery 5K at WPCC
The course runs through connected college campuses on the edge of Morganton, passing between a community college and two neighboring schools, with the South Mountains visible behind. The pavement is smooth, and the route winds rather than goes straight. This is an evening Halloween race, so glow sticks are part of the deal and costumes are encouraged, with prizes for the best ones.
Packet pickup opens at the community college a couple of hours before the start and closes just before the gun. Post-race, there are hot dogs and apple cider at the finish.
