About the Gobbler Giveback 5K Walk/Run
The course follows the Foundation Trail as an out-and-back, so you retrace your steps on the same path. It runs on Thanksgiving morning, starting from the Chamber of Commerce. The trail can get icy, so grip and footwear matter. The race is free, with donations going to local non-profits rather than an entry fee.
Hot chocolate is waiting at the end. There is also a virtual option if you want to participate from wherever you end up over the holiday weekend. Packet pickup details are straightforward since there is nothing to pick up; just show up at the Chamber of Commerce at the start and go.
