About the 18th Annual Gobbler Gallop Trail Run/Walk 1 Mile
This is a Thanksgiving morning trail race through a wooded park along the Tittabawassee River. The youth mile stays toward the back of the park on a single loop, away from the longer course. The trail runs through trees, and the river is nearby throughout. Costumes are part of the culture here, and at least one turkey is reliably spotted on course.
Bib pickup is available the evening before at a running store on Bay Road. Race-morning registration and bib pickup open at the park pavilion before the first wave goes off. Pies go to the overall winners in each race.
