About the Gobble Gobble Wobble Thanksgiving 5k
The course starts and finishes at the main courtyard of a mountain resort, which means the scenery is what you would expect from a ski village in late autumn. The race is not officially timed, though the top finishers are noted. Costumes are encouraged, and there are prizes for the youngest and oldest participants as well as best dressed.
Registration closes before race day, so plan ahead. The finish line has a crowd around it, partly because the prize giveaway happens as people come through. Post-race, you are already at the resort, so options for warming up afterward are close at hand.
