About the Glenview Gobbler 5K Run/Walk and Dash
The course starts and finishes at Jackman Park, looping through the Swainwood neighborhood on Thanksgiving morning. The streets there are tree-lined and the road is paved and mostly flat, so the running is straightforward. The race benefits a parish men's club and a Chicago-area nonprofit that runs hygiene programs in schools, so there is real purpose behind the entry fee.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race at the park's gazebo, closing before the start. That is the only pickup window, so plan accordingly.
