About the Give Thanks 8K
The Give Thanks 8K runs on Thanksgiving morning, starting and finishing at Hendershots on Prince Avenue. The course is USATF certified and follows city roads through Athens. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, and the race benefits a local organization focused on older adults in the community.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the ACCA office on Hoyt Street, with a second window on race morning at Hendershots before the start. Post-race refreshments are waiting when you cross the finish line.
