The course location was still being finalized when this description was written, so the specific route through local parks and greenbelts had not been nailed down. What is clear is that the race runs through parkland, with aid stations out on the course. A DJ keeps things moving at the start and finish, and holiday cookies and milk are at the finish area.
The race rally tent at the finish is where the post-race action happens, with snacks, music, and a live awards ceremony. There is also a holiday costume contest with prizes for the most creative outfits, which draws a crowd on its own.
