The course runs through Lake Pflugerville Park, looping around the lake on what sounds like a mostly flat path through Texas parkland. It reads as a holiday-themed event, so expect costumes in the crowd, a DJ spinning seasonal music, and a fairly spirited atmosphere at the finish area. Cookies and milk are waiting when you get there.

The finish area has a rally tent with snacks and refreshments, and awards are announced live on-site. A costume contest runs alongside the race, with prizes for the most creative holiday attire.
