About the Gin Run 5K
The course runs on country roads outside a small rural town, flat enough that most runners will find their legs turning over faster than expected. The surroundings are open farmland, the kind of quiet stretch where you can hear yourself breathe. Because the race goes off in the evening, it finishes after dark, and a headlamp is worth bringing.
Packet pickup and registration happen earlier in the evening, before the start. The post-race awards follow not long after everyone is in. Plan for low light at the finish and dress for an autumn evening outdoors.
