About the Gillham Road GobbleTrot 5K
The route heads through Hyde Park, tracing Gillham Road past the neighborhood's park before turning back to a finish just north of a chapel. It is a certified road course, straightforward in shape, with residential streets and mature trees on either side on a Thanksgiving morning.
The start and finish share the same spot, so spectators can catch runners at both ends without moving far. A children's short dash runs after the main race wraps up, which tends to keep families around the finish area well into the morning.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Gillham Road GobbleTrot 5K has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
