About the Get Up Show Up Community Day~Remembering Jenn Casci
This is a memorial event honoring a community member who believed in movement as a way to bring people together. The course is rooted at Jeppy's Playground, with shorter routes staying inside the park and the longer route heading out onto surrounding terrain. A separate legacy walk and kids fun run run alongside the main race, all drawing from the same park grounds.
Packet pickup is race morning only, right next to Jeppy's Playground at the back of the park near the main parking lot. Volunteers are on hand to guide you in. There is food at the finish, and the event raises funds for playground maintenance, youth scholarships, and local community projects through the Calaveras Community Foundation. Strollers are welcome on the shorter route but not the longer one.
