About the 20th Annual Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk

The course runs entirely on a college campus in Rosedale, on roads that close to traffic for the event. The route is flat campus pavement, and the atmosphere skews toward older adults and families rather than competitive runners. Health screenings and vendor tables are set up nearby, so there is activity beyond the race itself.

Packet pickup is available the evening before at a senior center in Towson, with race-morning pickup also available starting well before the gun. Parking is divided by distance, with separate lots for the shorter and longer routes. Post-race, there are refreshments and a door prize drawing with gift cards up for grabs.
