About the Gail Hanson Hope Foundation Run/Walk for Cancer
The course runs through Tyler Park, a wooded park with paved paths and open green space. The route is flat enough that walkers and slower runners stay comfortable, and the park setting keeps things shaded and quiet. Awards go out across several age and gender categories, with separate recognitions for top fundraisers, both individual and team.
Post-race refreshments are set up after you finish. The race is timed by a local timing company, so results come back quickly. The start is at the park's Stable Mill Trail entrance.
