About the Funnel Cake 5k
The course runs through downtown Searcy streets, heading west on a long residential stretch before looping through a neighborhood and turning back toward the center of town. The finish is just past the county courthouse. The route is flat throughout, and the race is part of a larger street festival happening the same morning.
The start is at a downtown street corner, with race-morning registration available in the window before the gun. Every registered runner gets a voucher for a funnel cake at the festival, so the post-race situation takes care of itself quickly.
