About the FTC Short and Long Trail Run
The course runs through San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, entering from the north side of the park off Progress Boulevard. Both route options make a loop through the preserve's trail system, so you are moving through hammock forest the whole way rather than doubling back on yourself. The footing is natural trail throughout.
There is a parking fee at the gate, payable per vehicle, though Florida State Park pass holders get in free. After the run, there are refreshments and snacks at the finish. Age group awards are given out for both route options.
