The course runs a loop around a lake in Cassadaga, and you repeat it as many times as you like, which means you can decide how far you want to go on the day itself. The terrain stays close to the water the whole way around. All entry fees go to the local fire police, so the race exists entirely as a fundraiser rather than a production.
